¿Por qué se celebra el Memorial Day (Día de los Caídos) el último lunes de mayo?
En 1971, la Uniform Monday Holiday Act (Ley de Lunes Festivo Uniformado en español) estableció el Memorial Day como festivo federal el último lunes de mayo. Esto consolidó la importancia nacional del día y garantizó un tiempo dedicado al recuerdo y la reflexión.
